  25. After reading swapon(8), i have to say the man-page's a bit unprecise about
  26. that point, but i also think you don't really need the 'swapon -a' if you
  27. use only one (default) swapping partition. It seems to me the swapon is
  28. mainly in there for people who want to have more than one swap or swap on
  29. another disk then root. After all, 'swapon -a' doesn't seem to hurt. :)
